We have extensive experience in every facet of commercial construction, including hotels, restaurants, office buildings, shopping centers, manufacturing, medical, assisted living, churches and schools. However, what’s important is not just the years of experience with projects of all sizes, or the prestigious names we could drop. The most important factor in the selection of Gordon James Construction is the quality of the final product and the satisfaction of our clients.
We work closely with our clients to maximize available space, control building costs and provide guidance with regard to future maintenance costs and expansion needs. We know that each project is completely unique and each comes with its own challenges and issues to solve. Gordon James meets them all with professionalism, innovation and expertise while staying on-time, and on-budget. Value management, transparency, safety, environmental stewardship and risk mitigation are key factors in all of our projects.
This new office space allows our GTS group to grow and continue to support the growth of Proto Labs. The project was a solid collective effort with our internal team as well as our external partners HCM, Star and Gordon James. It was a project with an aggressive timeline, one that converted a former manufacturing floor into office space, it was as a concept that matured in the fall of 2015 and move in was competed in May 2016. Joe and Bill at Gordon James did a great job of coordinating the construction project keeping everyone on task to have the space ready in April for the furniture install leading up to the move in May.
We couldn’t ask for a better opening [at the GrandStay Hotel in Delano, Minn.]. Once Gordon James Construction started building, the target was an April 1 opening. It’s extremely rare to hit the target. I’ve seen them backed up 90 days. My hat’s off to Gordon James.Scott Ehrlichman
